Every photograph begins with…
Photography that lingers.
My work is rooted in observation. In the places, light and little details that make me stop and look twice.
From everyday objects and carefully considered interiors to creative spaces and the people behind them, I’m drawn to the atmosphere and character that make something worth remembering.
I create photographs that sit somewhere between documentation and interpretation. Exploring how light, texture and perspective can make the familiar feel unfamiliar, painterly and almost tactile.
BEHIND THE VISIONS
Meet Midaysha — photographer,
visual storyteller & curious wanderer.
My camera has led me through museums, botanical gardens, cafés, bookstores and the little corners that made me stop walking.
I’m drawn to atmosphere, light and the details that are easy to overlook: the way light falls across a leaf, the texture of an old window, or the way an ordinary place can suddenly feel completely different when you slow down long enough to notice it.
Over time, that curiosity has grown into something more experimental. I’m increasingly interested in the space between photography & painting, in using light, texture, movement and distortion to transform the familiar into something almost tactile.
